get one while they’re hot

Yesterday, a Thursday, was a very wet Thursday. Originally intended to be a day off, I had to go to the city so I decided to do a few hours on postmates. Unfortunately when I got to San Francisco it was raining significantly harder than it had been when I left Oakland. Fortunately it was raining, so payouts were higher than usual. After three hours going from fidi to North Beach, Soma, Pacific Heights, Polk Street, back to Soma, then to the Mission, my socks felt like the Pacific Ocean. I was ready to call it a day because I had obviously not come prepared for any amount of rain. Fortunately, it is perfectly fine to dip out on an evil corporation’s algorithm. Highlights: I met the guy with the Kona frame matched with a Crust cargo fork. I didn’t get to talk to him, but I did take a picture of his bike.

oh heck yeah

Anyway, I have made copies of a new zine called “Ping”. It is a collection of stories from delivering food and flowers, called an atlas in that the stories are categorized geographically and I include a map of San Francisco to provide context. I’m currently making the rounds to get it in a handful of places that sell zines in Oakland and San Francisco, so far there are a few copies at Issues on Piedmont Ave. If you want to cut to the chase then send me a message, trades are perfectly ok.
